Jese Medina Suarez
Jese is the founder and creative director of our studio. He's got a knack for crafting unique spaces for the hospitality and food + beverage industries, but he's not been shy to venture into residential, aviation, retail and product design projects as well. Spain-born, he studied building engineering there, dabbled in architecture and interiors in Italy, and honed his branding skills in Australia. For the past 15 years, he's been working worldwide –based in cities such as London, Paris, Milan, Singapore, Melbourne, and now, Dubai– seamlessly blending the hospitality world with diverse sectors.
Jese's work isn't just about creating nice-looking spaces; it's about encrypting a message within the design in order to delight guests when discovering its meaning. He's left his mark on every inhabited continent, turning places into experiences. He's worked for world class brands such as Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, St Regis, Intercontinental, Jumeirah, British Airways, and Hakkasan to name a few, but it's not just about the big names; it's about the small yet crucial details that make a place special, from construction know-how to artwork, signage, styling, menus, uniforms, tabletops, and even scents. Jese doesn't aim to convey a distinctive personal style; rather, he focuses on delivering design solutions that balance aesthetics, operational needs, authenticity, and financial sensibility. Every decision is woven together to create spaces that elevate the experience of living in our physical world.
